Congratulations again to all of the paddlers on their performances, and I hope that everyone had a great time. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank a few people who went above and beyond the call of duty in preparation of this race.

Thank you to all of the paddlers who joined us from other teams. It was great to get to know you, and DBCB really appreciates the time that you took out of your schedule to help our team. We could not have been so successful without your help.

Thank you, Lick for doing a great job as race coordinator. Lick worked incredibly hard to prepare paperwork, purchase supplies, coordinate rides, arrange hotel rooms, and take care of countless other little details that made the weekend run so smoothly.

Thank you to all of the people who drove their teammates around this weekend. I know that rides were rather tight all weekend, and both the team and I appreciate the extra effort that you all took to make sure that we were taken care of.

Finally, I would like to thank all the coaches and steerers, who have contributed on a regular basis in practices leading up to the race. Your time and efforts have made it possible for the teams to train regularly and prepare so well for the race. Both the paddlers and I really appreciate your commitment.

If you have any photos from the race that you wouldn't mind sharing for our promotional material, please e-mail Kevin at directoratlarge3@dbcb.org.

Finally, any feedback for the captains, coaches, race coordinators, steerers would be appreciated. We are always looking for ways to improve the race experience for everyone, so if you have comments please let us know, so that they can be incorporated into the planning for future races. Comments can be sent to Lick and Stef.

Thanks,

Stef
