Membership Information

The Dragon Boat Club of Boston is always looking for new members and people interested in the sport of dragon boating. To apply for membership, please fill out the Membership Application and bring it to the next DBCB event. Come try our practices out for free before you join. If you have any other questions or concerns about membership, contact membership@dbcb.org.

Membership Benefits

• Free practice sessions (unless otherwise reserved for other teams or special events). Each practice is $10 for non-members.
• Reduced racing registration fees
• Reduced prices on equipment and apparel

Membership Fee

• 1 year membership fee is $85.00 (Mid-April to Mid-October)
• Student membership fee (proof of full-time student status required) is $45.00

We accept checks or cash. Please make checks payable to Dragon Boat Club of Boston. The completed application and check can also be sent to the following address:

Not sure if dragon boat is the sport for you? Interested in just trying it out? Send mail to membership@dbcb.org or just cruise by one of our practices and try it out first. If you like it (and most people seem to) you can always become a member later. Your first practice is free. Each practice thereafter is $10 for non-members.  If you decide to join after a couple practices, the $10 practice fee will apply towards your membership fee.
